July 2016

Last month I’ve presented a Warhammer 40,000 TAU Work in Progress picture… Well, July was all about the Tau. Just like that – except for one week of compulsory holidays that I had to take, the entirety of July was Tau centered. Not that I minded it. I had a blast with Tau minis, starting with some cool looking Battlesuits, through smaller ones and heroes, ending up with a pile of Fire Warriors, Pathfinders and Drones. Almost entire army painted in two waves throughout one month. A hell of a challenge, but to my surprise it went smooth. The overall effect looks cool and this army will soon roam the tournaments so stay frosty!

June 2016

June was a month of both ‘good byes’ and ‘fresh starts’. Last month I’ve parted with Epic 40,000 Titan Legions commission and now a time had come to part ways with Infinity ALEPH. I had a blast with ALEPH miniatures, but none can compare to the crown jewel, being Penthesilea the Amazon Biker. This one summed the entire commission pretty well. Will I see some more ALEPH in the future? Certainly so, but not in previous quantities, as this collection is almost complete by now.

Luckily, as old stars fade and leave the stage – new stars emerge to take their place. Epic 40,000 ORK CLANS just got some huge reinforcements. I wander if I should rename this one “Waaagh!”? It is still in progress now and due to a long shedule and another huge commission appearance, will be postponed till August.

So this month was bussy like none other still I took a couple of days off to pursue my own projects. With Infinity Championships of Poland in sight I had to expand my private collection of Infinity Corregidor. I also prepared a special “GO GO NOMADS” DIORAMA DISPLAY to be my entry in a painting contest, accompanying the championships. My entry actually won of which I’m very proud. Many hours of almost constant labour were totally worth it!

As for upcomming projects – expect some Warhammer 40,000 TAU appearing next month. Right now they are being prepared for paint job!

July – you better be ready for me!

May 2016

I just love painting. For me the most exciting moment of each commission is the one, just before the end. All hard work is already in the past, everything went well and each stroke of a brush brings the miniature closer to the finish line. Unfortunatelly all things must come to an end with no exception to this particular moment. It is always short and soon after it’s gone. I must say good bye to the fruits of my labour, as these are being sent to the customers.  Finishing the Epic 40,000 Titan Legions commission was inevitable, yet it pains my heart to part with it. I had so much great time with the Titans – I will truly miss them.

Other than that, May was a month of Infinity (Yup – once again) while I was given the opportunity to paint a variety of Infinity miniatures at different painting levels. These varried between lvl 3 to lvl 5 and let me experiment a lot. Along with I AM NOMAD giveway campaign I’ve painted a small Nomad commission, along with another bunch of ALEPH miniatures.

“THE COLONY” Special Project was also finished, further amplifying the feel of parting ways. I should really find a way to fill that hole in my heart as otherwise I might feel a bit lonely.

Last but not least a small contingent of Imperial Fists, Warhammer 40,000 Space Marines, stormed my desk and was turned to a bright yellow. Long time no see with Space Marines so it turned out to be a nice change of enviroment for me 🙂

April 2016

What a month!? April almost overwhelmed me with many different challenges. It started just like every month should – with Epic 40,000 Titans. Two God Mashines, that I started, but wasn’t able to finish in March. Maybe that’s for the better as I wasn’t going tu rush such a commission. Next came some really ‘random stuff’, including Vampire Countess with a battle standard, painted for Warhammer Fantasy Battles. [It turned out that Warhammer still lives in the community, 9th edition was ‘released’ and people still game it. Either way I sold my Vampire Counts army just before the end of the month. It was gathering dust at the bottom of a wardrobe – such waste, that I just had to make someone happy with it.] There were two miniatures from Waste Knights board game [Miniatures produced by Prodos Games], some ‘fast’ Talisman Adventurers, first miniature painted for I AM NOMAD giveaway campaign, and even some of my own Corregidor Nomads as well. Then I was forced to take couple of days off and go relax by the sea. Last week was all about more Titans, started just before my short vacation and finished before the month ended. [I have two more left, so that May will start, just like every month should :P… ]. Somewhere inbetween all of that I got back to “THE COLONY” Special Project, so be sure to check it out 🙂

I’m ready for May!

March 2016

Mies mar 2016

March went so fast! I could really use some more painting time. It started with last month’s WiPs being finished – so a complete collection of Infinity Aleph miniatures was finally done and picked up by the customer. Sweet stuff – especially Ajax and Achilleses which all ended up being painted lvl 5. (More fine miniatures for that army are under way and will fall into the cauldron of paint in the months to come.) Painting so much Infinity I was able to sneak-paint my own Nomad miniature inbetween the Aleph ones. Senor Massacre joined my private collection – which saw a lot of combat this past few weeks. “Operation Flamestrike” begun and swallowed up more than a week of my usual painting time, with “The Colony” Special Project doing the same. That and Easter themed familly meeting literally cut March in two for me. Still I was able to write some articles and paint few Epic 40,000 miniatures (in some cases – ‘start painting’ is more accurate).

Let’s take a look at what I’ve managed to paint…

April… come and face me!

February 2016

I used to do a quick summary of each month at my old blog. Don’t see a reason to stop now, when new site is online. The assumption is to allow a quick access to my latest gallery entries to anyone interested.

I can’t start to describe February before taking a step back and saying something about January first. January was an insanely good month. A lot of things happened and I clashed with a bunch of awesome projects. For those of you willing to take a peek HERE’S THE LINK to January’s summary. So, after such a majestic month I was wandering if the rest of the year would be as much exciting. As it turned out February outclassed January in each and every way. I was able to continue my favorite project of late – Epic 40,000 Titan Legions with an amazingly detailed True Scale Warlord Titan. Epic 40,000 Orks were somehow pushed in to the background but they will be back and with a great, loud comeback. Warhammer 40,000 Solar Auxilia project was also reinforced with two new units, drastically increasing the quantity of miniatures involved. I even managed to spend some time with my own miniatures, expanding my ever growing Infinity Corregidor collection. At some point during the month I was struck by the surge of inspiration, throwing everything away and letting myself be occupied by a Special Project: “Ave Dominus Nox” for two days in a row. To convert and paint a miniature just for the sake of feeding a Muse was a very pleasant experience. Still that’s not all as when February was closing to an end a delayed commission finally got to me. Infinity Aleph collection, a second part of an army that I painted almost half a year ago. I did my best to finish at least one Aleph miniature before the time run out, but for the sake of this project I didn’t want to rush things. The quality of paintjob was my priority after all.

All of that was pretty exciting but the biggest surprise of February is actually THIS SITE! If someone asked me if I will publish a professional site a month ago, I would die laughting – then – just like that – I’ve  purchased a domain, rented a server, copied some old content, created a lot of new one. Taming the Theme was the most difficult issue, still I’ve managed. And here I am – writing on my own site, free of blogspot.com, with a lot of new functionality at my disposal. All thanks to a random small talk with one of my friends who suggested that I should go pro with my website. I still barely believe it 🙂

Enought sentimental bullsh… Some pics and links 🙂
