MONTHLY GALLERY

April 2017

I was carried into April on a wave of Tabbletop World’s awesome scenery. Infinity ALEPH followed shortly, updating an already grand collection. This kept me occupied throughout first week, after which I took three giant boxes of painted stuff on a spin to Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary. Was cool to visit some of my foreign friendstomers, play some games and actually rest a little. Upon my return Easter got me, so no painting for another three days… after which I finally sat down and got back to work. I started with a small addition to Thomas’s Peculiar Collection, adding a D&D Collector’s Series Purple Wurm to it. I then focused my energy on improoving The Colony – an Infinity the Game board of my own. In the end I painted a bunch of Infinity Panoceania miniatures and thus the month ended. May, I hope you’re ready for me, cause I’m closing on you fast!

March 2017

March was special in many ways. First of all I have not painted a single Infinity the game miniature throughout entire month, which is somehow… strange, to say the least. Instead, I had an opportunity to paint two amazing warbands from Freebooter’s Fate: The Amazons and The Pirates. These two were my first real life experience with Freebooter’s Fate and I can openly say it was awesome to work with the miniatures. Then I have moved to Thomas’s Peculiar Collection, continuing my glorious endeavor to bring yet another part of Thomas’s imagination to life. The crown jewel of the month is certainly a lvl 5 ‘Witness Me!’ Eye Tyrant, that really tested my skills.

The closer to the end of the month I was, the bigger and more cumbersome the painted stuff got. So, there was a pair of Ainsty’s Pirate Ships – huge chunks of resin. Both are very heavy and were difficult to maneuver while painting, still both were very interresting to work on. There was also a huge Tabletop World’s Ruinted Coaching Inn, which is a rare out of print piece. Really sorry to see this one unobtainable, as I would gladly get my own. On top of that I also started to work on Tabletop World’s Town Gate and Walls, so plenty of cool stuff incomming next month.

February 2017

Is it me or is painting Infinity miniatures like: The more you paint, the more you get to paint still? In comparisson to previous month, Fabruary started pretty innocently. I’ve painted few miniatures for my own NOMADS collection just to keep it growing steadily. Then, all of a sudden, two Panoceanian armies stormed my workbench and I was knee deep in Infinity miniatures once more. Following last month’s experiment, I have linked two simmilar commissions, with NEOTERRA ‘Witness Me!’ taking the lead, followed short by NEOTERRA ‘Fast & Furious’. Atop of that I was asked to prepare a ‘WATCHFUL AQUILA’ Special Project in the same theme as both Panoceanias. It turned out pretty neat and I’ve decided to turn my gaze away from Infinity and onto Thomas’s Peculiar Collection, where more and more cool stuff awaited my attention. The diversity of different miniatures that Thomas sent me is near to extreme. This time I’ve painted some Drows, Elementals, Illithid, Myconids and couple of random monsters. Along with paint job I was asked to sculpt a Myconid Princess to complete the series of miniatures required for the Roleplaying session closing in. I had a lot of fun with this last miniature, trying to copy the awesome style of Otherworld Miniatures Myconids. While I write this article there’s still three days of February left, but I decided to take a short break, prepare some awesome stuff for incomming March…

[EDIT 28.2.2017] Naaah – I didn’t make it. I sat throughout the weekend and painted some more of my own stuff from NOMADS collection. No rest for the wicked 😛

January 2017

I just rolled through a perfect start of the year! Infinity the game all-in, with January being totally dominated by it! Four projects total, starting with an ALEPH collection in a lustful ‘Chrome & Shiny plus’ Turquise-Green-Black colour scheme, that I just had to note down in case of future comebacks. This was followed shortly by two linked USAriadna projects. Both ‘USARFs’ were of a similar colour scheme but with different choice of miniatures and painting levels between ‘USARF Fast & Furious’ and ‘USARF Chrome & Shiny’. Painting two projects at a time was a totally new experience for me and it turned out great! I’m pretty sure that more of these will follow. I left a nice Special Project to close the month with. ‘GO GO NOMADS! IGUANA’ was a great test for my reds and blacks. This piece was painted at ‘Witness Me!’ level and adorned with some extra freehands to honour last year’s Operation Flamestrike campaign. January clearly stands for Infinity the Game!

December 2016

Last month of the year had some great painting bombs dropped on me. It started with some brand new additions to Thomas’s Peculiar Collection – this time beasts and monsters, along with cool looking heroes. Some of these had to be scratch-built by me and I had a blast with this commission. Then came an Epic 40,000 job with four tiny Space Marines Primarchs from Horus Heresy timeline, providing me with insane amount of fun while I tried myself against such a small scale. More Warhammer 40,000 TAU followed, adding even more firepower to now existing army. This time tho I was able to take proper pictures, capturing the colours with almost perfect match to the real life versions. Finally I had my time with brand new Fallen Frontiers Harvesters and Riffs. Great miniatures and time well spent. On top of that I spent some time on my own project of Mordheim Gaming Board, but this one is still far from being finished – will just publish some pictures on the bottom of this article, so you can see what I’ve done…

November 2016

miesiac-listopad-2016Oh, this year is getting more and more interresting with each passing month. November is no exception. Once again I had a chance to work with some fine stuff including self made, commissioned Special Scenery pieces. Resin happens to be my daily bread now and that’s really cool. That inspired me to pursue my own ideas and create two pieces for my Mordheim collection. ‘Dead Tree‘ was the first one, but being resin-hyped I soon followed with ‘Toad Fountain‘ and had a blast with both of these. All that calmed my restless muse and I focused on a grand project of Stargrunt. First time ever have I confronted 15mm scale with lots and lots of miniatures from Ground Zero Games. Both the New Anglian Confederation and Civilians provided me with entertainment beyond the usual degree. Working with such quantities calms me down and keeps me very concentraded throughout the process. It is a katharsis. Will surely delve deeper into 15mm games in the near future. On top of that I switched towns once again and still found some time to start working on a Mordheim gaming table Special Project. Months to come will be craaayzee interresting for me…

October 2016

miesiac-pazdziernik-2016October was a month of many awesome projects. First one was the Infinity TOHAA which tested me to the limits. Entire Infinity collection painted in more or less fourty days at such a painting level was a challenge, but at the same time painting went smooth and I had a lot of fun. Then I moved to a fantastic ‘Gecko Mage’ Special Project. This one required a lot of imagination and the journey from start to finish was a truly awesome experience. Once ‘Gecko Mage’ was sent to a happy owner, I started to follow this project with Gecko’s Mansion, along with furniture and some extras provided by Tabletop World. Among many furniture pieces none was more interresting than a Mermaid in a big aquarium. This piece has an internal LED to light the insides of the aquarium – first time I had a chance to provide such a device. Somewhere along the way I layed my hands on a fine Guild Ball MORTICIAN’S team of six miniatures. The project was a one-day thing, but I really like the overall visual effect and colour coherency of this quick paint job. With all these projects being finished in time I was able to deliver four more miniatures to my own Infinity CORREGIDOR collection, provide speed paintjog for a Talisman crew for a friend and even start a totally new project. Currently I work with the latter, a big collection of 15mm scale New Anglian Confederation from Ground Zero Games! Can’t wait to see this one acomplished!

September 2016

miesiac-wrzesien-2016

September started rather slowly with a major project for this and the upcomming month being prepared. I used every opportunity to divert my attention elsewheresome while gathering strengh for what’s to come. This way I have painted some Infinity miniatures, adding them to both Infinity MISCAELLOUS gallery and my own Infinity CORREGIDOR. After that I moved to terrain painting, starting with some cool Micro Art Studio scenery for a friend, then moving to The Colony Special Project with a major update. Once I was done with all the ‘small’ stuff I’ve charged head-on into Infinity TOHAA commission with which I spent entire second half of the month. Usually at this point I woild have taunted next month, but I know exactly what it’ll bring – more Tohaa and that is a good thing actually 🙂

August 2016

MIESIĄC SIERPIEŃ 2016

August – time to relax and tan in the sun 🙂 For me it was also a time to close Warhammer 40,000 Tau commission along with Epic 40,000 Ork Clans! After closing up both of these I’ve spent some time preparing a template for Corregidor Bases, then sent them straight to Micro Art Studio to be mass produced! That’s not all as throughout the month many test commissions came in, including Infinity ALEPH, Infinity USAriadna, AVP Predators and some Dragonlance miniatures. I’ve spent some time with them and even managed to paint a final piece for the ‘I AM NOMAD’ promo campaign. All of this in just one month XD

July 2016

MIESIĄC LIPIEC 2016

Last month I’ve presented a Warhammer 40,000 TAU Work in Progress picture… Well, July was all about the Tau. Just like that – except for one week of compulsory holidays that I had to take, the entirety of July was Tau centered. Not that I minded it. I had a blast with Tau minis, starting with some cool looking Battlesuits, through smaller ones and heroes, ending up with a pile of Fire Warriors, Pathfinders and Drones. Almost entire army painted in two waves throughout one month. A hell of a challenge, but to my surprise it went smooth. The overall effect looks cool and this army will soon roam the tournaments so stay frosty!
