October 2017

October begun RED with Infinity Nomads lvl 4 ‘Chrome & Shiny’ being painted and then sent across the ocean to the land of USA. Afterwards, being totally hyped I run a small project adding some Nomads of my own to a house collection. With lots and lots of miniatures under preparation, I decided to spend some time with last year’s ‘Go Go Nomads’ Diorama and add a second part to it. Now I consider building entire terrain set based like this – but that’s for another topic… After compleeting all the Infinity related project I jumped straight into the grim future of Warhammer 40,000, painting a set of Space Hulk themed Dark Eldar and then a small Inquisitorial force. This month was a lot of fun. Now time to ented next one with the same brutal force of spilled paint and damaged brushes 😛

September 2017

Ooh Wee! September turned out to be full to the very brim. Three Special Projcets and three regular ones is close to maximum what I can handle in one month. Month started with ‘Clockwork Modrons’ Special Project wave two, that filled the ranks of already existing Modrons from Thomas’s Peculiar Collection. This time I had a free hand as to pick the designs and was not guided by the lore which turned out pretty interresting. Afterwards a lot of Infinity the Game projects droped onto my table, starting with another wave of Panoceania lvl 4 ‘Chrome & Shiny’, then moving to two additions to Ariadna lvl 4 ‘Chrome & Shiny’ army, being USARF and totally new scheme KAZAKS. A second Special Project arrived. First in a long time Lord of the Rings/Hobbit project, ‘Autumn Tauriel‘ made me rest from Infinity for a while. In the end I decided to rest with something of my own, to expand my collection of Nomads (yeah, once again Infinity the Game), thus I bringed to life ‘Nomad Zonds’ Special Project. A truly bountiful month…

August 2017

August was a blast! It started with me continuing a last month’s project of Infinity the game Caledonians. This one was my first attempt at Caledonia and I am very happy with the results. Next in line was something amazing, straight out of early days of my hobbying – a collection of vintage Warhammer 40k Genestealer Cult miniatures. Things of real beauty and I was overwhelmed with joy to be able to work on these. Not being able to contain hype I then moved to my own miniatures, adding three more Nomads to my Infinity the Game collection. That helped to keep myself composed. I moved to a grander project of adding some Furniture to Thomas’s Peculiar Collection. Then I finished the month in a style with a Warhammer 40,000 TAU competitive update into new edition of the game. What a month XD

July 2017

July, a month too short for me to be happy about. Thomas’s Peculiar Collection – Scenery made a nice transition from June to July, with a lot of new Tabletop World scenery pieces following into paint job. After that a small collection of Infinity the Game Qapu Khalqi followed and started another cascade of Infinity the Game projects. On top of finished Neoterra force there’s also a Caledonia force in progress. Would be done in time for this gallery if not for compulsory holiday I had to take…

June 2017

June is a king! Two Special Projects and a lot of fancy stuff to paint kept me rather occupied throughout the month. It started with a challenge of about 50 Dark Sword Miniatures. I had a real blast with these. Next in line was ‘Clockwork Modrons’ Special Project which tested my Arcane Artificer’s skill to the limit. After such a grand number of miniatures already painted, I took a short break from commissions and followed my own Special Project called ‘Dong Peyote‘. Refreshed with my own miniature being painted I closed the month adding two more Tabletop World buildings to the growing town of Thomas’s Peculiar Collection – Scenery. More of the latter to follow in July…

May 2017

May clearly stands out for diversity. I used this month to wrap up some of the smaller projects including Guildball Morticiant’s team and my own Infinity Nomads reinforcements. Then I moved to medium sized projects, starting with an interresting Malifaux Gremlins collection that turned out to be quite a challenge. Warhammer 40,000 Tau Empire wave followed up, bolstering the number of miniatures this vast collection consists of. I then let the muse loose over a Blood Bowl Human team, that was meant to be a surprise gift to a girlfriend of one of my friendstomers. A challenging Infinity Haqqislam project was the one to close the month. It was a special case as I was given a very thorough instructions on how to place particular colours in the scheme. It turned out really nice. Now I’m exhausted but also eager to open up June with some new projects.

April 2017

I was carried into April on a wave of Tabbletop World’s awesome scenery. Infinity ALEPH followed shortly, updating an already grand collection. This kept me occupied throughout first week, after which I took three giant boxes of painted stuff on a spin to Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary. Was cool to visit some of my foreign friendstomers, play some games and actually rest a little. Upon my return Easter got me, so no painting for another three days… after which I finally sat down and got back to work. I started with a small addition to Thomas’s Peculiar Collection, adding a D&D Collector’s Series Purple Wurm to it. I then focused my energy on improoving The Colony – an Infinity the Game board of my own. In the end I painted a bunch of Infinity Panoceania miniatures and thus the month ended. May, I hope you’re ready for me, cause I’m closing on you fast!

March 2017

March was special in many ways. First of all I have not painted a single Infinity the game miniature throughout entire month, which is somehow… strange, to say the least. Instead, I had an opportunity to paint two amazing warbands from Freebooter’s Fate: The Amazons and The Pirates. These two were my first real life experience with Freebooter’s Fate and I can openly say it was awesome to work with the miniatures. Then I have moved to Thomas’s Peculiar Collection, continuing my glorious endeavor to bring yet another part of Thomas’s imagination to life. The crown jewel of the month is certainly a lvl 5 ‘Witness Me!’ Eye Tyrant, that really tested my skills.

The closer to the end of the month I was, the bigger and more cumbersome the painted stuff got. So, there was a pair of Ainsty’s Pirate Ships – huge chunks of resin. Both are very heavy and were difficult to maneuver while painting, still both were very interresting to work on. There was also a huge Tabletop World’s Ruinted Coaching Inn, which is a rare out of print piece. Really sorry to see this one unobtainable, as I would gladly get my own. On top of that I also started to work on Tabletop World’s Town Gate and Walls, so plenty of cool stuff incomming next month.

February 2017

Is it me or is painting Infinity miniatures like: The more you paint, the more you get to paint still? In comparisson to previous month, Fabruary started pretty innocently. I’ve painted few miniatures for my own NOMADS collection just to keep it growing steadily. Then, all of a sudden, two Panoceanian armies stormed my workbench and I was knee deep in Infinity miniatures once more. Following last month’s experiment, I have linked two simmilar commissions, with NEOTERRA ‘Witness Me!’ taking the lead, followed short by NEOTERRA ‘Fast & Furious’. Atop of that I was asked to prepare a ‘WATCHFUL AQUILA’ Special Project in the same theme as both Panoceanias. It turned out pretty neat and I’ve decided to turn my gaze away from Infinity and onto Thomas’s Peculiar Collection, where more and more cool stuff awaited my attention. The diversity of different miniatures that Thomas sent me is near to extreme. This time I’ve painted some Drows, Elementals, Illithid, Myconids and couple of random monsters. Along with paint job I was asked to sculpt a Myconid Princess to complete the series of miniatures required for the Roleplaying session closing in. I had a lot of fun with this last miniature, trying to copy the awesome style of Otherworld Miniatures Myconids. While I write this article there’s still three days of February left, but I decided to take a short break, prepare some awesome stuff for incomming March…

[EDIT 28.2.2017] Naaah – I didn’t make it. I sat throughout the weekend and painted some more of my own stuff from NOMADS collection. No rest for the wicked 😛

January 2017

I just rolled through a perfect start of the year! Infinity the game all-in, with January being totally dominated by it! Four projects total, starting with an ALEPH collection in a lustful ‘Chrome & Shiny plus’ Turquise-Green-Black colour scheme, that I just had to note down in case of future comebacks. This was followed shortly by two linked USAriadna projects. Both ‘USARFs’ were of a similar colour scheme but with different choice of miniatures and painting levels between ‘USARF Fast & Furious’ and ‘USARF Chrome & Shiny’. Painting two projects at a time was a totally new experience for me and it turned out great! I’m pretty sure that more of these will follow. I left a nice Special Project to close the month with. ‘GO GO NOMADS! IGUANA’ was a great test for my reds and blacks. This piece was painted at ‘Witness Me!’ level and adorned with some extra freehands to honour last year’s Operation Flamestrike campaign. January clearly stands for Infinity the Game!
